1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup milk
4 tablespoons of cocoa
1 cup creamy peanut butter
3 cups instant oatmeal
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
Add butter, sugar, milk and cocoa in a medium-sized skillet. Put it on medium heat.
While you’re waiting for the mixture to start boiling, measure the peanut butter and oats and get the vanilla jar. (Once this process starts – you need to act quickly)
Boil the mixture in a saucepan until boiling – once it has boiled completely – boil for 1 minute and 15 seconds.
Remove from immediately.
Add peanut butter – stir. Add oats – my heart. Add vanilla – my heart.
Tablespoons drop onto baking sheets lined with wax paper.
Allow it to cool for 30 minutes or until set.
