Toll House Chocolate Chip Pie


1 deep baked pie, 9 inch (4 cups size) *
2 large eggs
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 cup (1 1/2 stick) soft butter
1 cup (6 ounces) of NESTLE® TOLL HOUSE® semi-sweet chocolate
1 cup chopped nuts
Whipped cream or ice cream (optional)

Pre-oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit

Hit eggs in a large mixer bowl at high speed until foamed. Wheat in flour, granulated sugar and brown sugar. Whisk in butter. Add bits and nuts. Spoon in a pie shell.

Bake for 55 to 60 minutes or until the knife is inserted halfway between the edge and the center out clean. Cool on a wire rack. Serve warm with whipped cream, if desired.

* If you are using frozen pie crust, use a deep dish pattern, completely melted. Bake on a baking sheet. Slightly increase baking time.
