Whipped Shortbread Cookies

What you will need:

1 cup soft butter
1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup of powdered sugar or 1/2 cup of powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
1/4 cup red Marchino cherry
1/4 cup green Marchino cherry
how to make it :

The oven is heated to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
In a mixing bowl and using an electric mixer, mix the butter, flour, powdered sugar and vanilla extract; mix until the mixture becomes a smooth consistency.
Prepare cookies for parchment paper.
Pour the dough onto the lined cookie sheets with a teaspoon or a tablespoon of larger cookies, and about 2 inches apart.
Cut the marchino cherry into quarters and place one piece in the middle of each cookie, alternating with red and green cherries.
Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 13 to 15 minutes or until the biscuit turns a little light, do not overeat.
Remove from oven and allow to cool on a biscuit tray for about 5 minutes.
Transfer onto wire racks to finish cooling.
Store in a bowl with lid and separate each layer with wax paper.
Note: If you want to add some flavor to your cookies, add a teaspoon of vanilla extract or almond extract.
Use sprinkles, half almonds, half cashews, or chocolate on top of cookies before baking.
Thumbprint in the cookie, full of your choice of jam is very delicious.
It was suggested that cookies be cooled for at least 1/2 hour before baking to a different consistency
